In August 2026, colleagues, residents and seniors across One Aged Care came together to celebrate Singapore’s 61st National Day, sharing in the spirit of togetherness, community and national pride.

For many of the seniors in our care and communities, Singapore’s journey is closely intertwined with their own. Their memories and experiences reflect the country’s growth and transformation over the decades, offering valuable reminders of the people and stories that have helped shape the Singapore we know today.

National Day also provides an opportunity to celebrate the importance of belonging and connection. Across One Aged Care’s care communities, we remain committed to creating meaningful opportunities for seniors to connect with others, participate in shared experiences and maintain a sense of belonging in the communities they call home.

As we reflect on the celebrations, we are reminded that a strong community is built through shared experiences, meaningful relationships and care for one another. These values continue to guide us in supporting seniors to live with dignity, purpose and connection throughout the year.
